Lots of participation at Superior! 26 ultra series participants earned finisher woodles (unless I missed someone), or about a quarter of the series. Three down….fourteen races to go! We have some great competition shaping up in all the classes with a huge increase in total participation in each race from last year. After another set of races this past weekend there has been some moving and shaking in the standings. Good weather in Wisconsin made for excellent racing in the Southern Kettle Moraine. The results are in from the Chippewa 50K, and things are heating up already! Christi Nowak tied the Open standings up, matching Leslie Semler’s early lead with her own victory in the women’s race.
