Updated results through In Yan Teopa. Ashley Busack leads the open division with 170 points. Brook Wheeler maintains a solid lead in the masters divison with 245 points. Pam Albin continues to rack up the points in the grandmasters division with 315 points. The weather was great and the fun had at Voyageur on July 30. Even more fun may have been had at the Beck’s Rd. UMTR aid station. If you needed aid and your spirits lifted, this was the place to go!  Thanks to all those that volunteered.  Much appreciated!  

Three Gnarly Bandits candidates toed the line for this weekend’s Fall Superior 100 and three Gnarly Bandit candidates finished! Congrats to Jim Lemke, Susan Donnelly, and Erik Raivo. Way to go! Finish Wild Duluth 100k and you become a member of the exclusive club! One more race to go!

UMTR had a great showing at Chester Woods this weekend. Here is a pre-race picture of some of the UMTR 10 mile runners that participated at Chesterwoods this weekend. Others that ran the 10 miler, 50k, and volunteered included JJ Teskey, John Storkamp(2nd Place-50k), Rob Henderson(3rd Place 50k), Jeff Miller(4 place 50k), Joe Boler(50k-great finish, place unknown), Kristine Tibor(50k-place unknown), and Jake Hegge(volunteer).

Good afternoon! We’ve made it through another two races in the 2016 Ultra Series.  Ice Age 50K/50M were great early season races down in southern Wisconsin, and Spring Superior was an absolute hit for trail conditions, though I hear the weather could have been cooler.
