2014 Fall Superior Endurance Races – UMTR Aid Station Vounteers Needed!

Come one, come all!

UMTR is looking for volunteers… lots of them! As we did last year, UMTR will again be sponsoring the Temperance River Aid Station at the Fall Superior Endurance Races on the weekend of Sept 5-7th. This is a special aid station that enables you to help out runners in the 100 mile, 50 mile and Moose Mountain Marathon at the same time. Get the chance to cheer on some of the most bada$$ runners from near and far at this year’s Fall Superior Races. See what relentless rocks, roots, and sleep deprivation can do to the toughest trail runner while enjoying some of the most beautiful scenery the midwest has to offer.

We will need volunteers starting from Friday, 8pm to Saturday, 5pm. Come for the whole time or some of it. All we ask is that you bring your enthusiasm, your willingness to help out fellow runners and the ability to ring cowbells like there’s no tomorrow. For the first to commit, there will be limited free lodging (floor space) at Superior Highlands (finish line). Campsites are also available through the race course (see State Park website for availability).
