New for 2015 – we will be tracking the volunteer hours that UMTR members put in throughout the year, but we need your help for accurate numbers! Starting February 1, when you give your time for any trail race or maintenance event, send us an email at info@umtr.net and let us know. This is not a competition, we simply wish to start putting some numbers to the work you, our fabulous members, are putting in.
Whether it’s an hour spent volunteering at an Endless Summer race, three hours of trail maintenance, or an all day aid station effort, we want to hear about it, even if it wasn’t for a race in one of our series. Email your approximate time and what you were doing and we will be reporting the overall UMTR total every month so everyone can see some of the difference UMTR members make.
