This morning, February 3rd, 2015, Aaron Buffington passed after battling kidney cancer for 13 months. For many, he was a dear friend, running partner, and ubiquitous trail presence. His friendly smile, kind words, and helpfulness will be dearly missed. Aaron was a frequent racer and aficionado of the 100-miler, having finished the Gnarly Bandit in 2012.
