Upper Midwest Trail Runners has just logged 276 members, which is an all-time high! But with many hundreds of trail runners toeing the line at races each weekend, we think there’s still room to grow.
If you’ve been on the fence about joining UMTR, now is the time! Yearly membership is only $20, and this fee gets you discounts at numerous local running stores – in fact, many members find their membership pays for itself with the purchase of only one pair of shoes. (Like any of us only buy one pair of shoes in a year.)
Additionally, membership gets you an invitation to our members-only banquet each November, chock-full of food, friendship, and door prizes. Three trail series are open to members, with awards given for top points earners at the year-end banquet.
Membership fees go to providing swag and prizes for these events, and we donate more than a thousand dollars each year to local parks and trails. If we don’t support our trails, who will?
