Another two races into the 2017 UMTR Ultra Series, with great days for racing at both Trail Mix 50K and Chippewa Moraine 50K. Lots of participation in the races and volunteering in already! Shout out to David Lenahan on fourth place and Willow Hoaglund in sixth place at Trail Mix. As for Chippewa, it was a wonderful day but maybe a bit slow on the way back on a warming day? (That’s what I’m giving credit for my significant positive split.)
Next up, this weekend holds the Ice Age Races in southern Wisconsin. Good luck if you’re headed there, it’s always fun to head out from the Nordic Center.
